Every September, TMSA hosts its annual College Fair, welcoming representatives from around 20 colleges and universities. They provide valuable information about academic programs, admissions, and scholarship opportunities. This event gives students a great chance to explore different pathways, ask questions, and gain important insights to help guide their future college and career choices.

TMSA Ivy League University Visit

TMSA takes students to visit Ivy League universities to help them dream big and see what’s possible for their future. By walking through campuses like Harvard, Yale, and Princeton, students get to experience what it’s like to be part of some of the best schools in the country. These visits help students learn more about college life, explore different career paths, and understand what it takes to get into top universities. Most importantly, it inspires them to work hard, stay motivated, and believe that they can achieve great things, too.

TMSA Field Trips to Local Universities

At TMSA, we celebrate our hard-working students by taking them on exciting field trips to local universities! These trips are a special reward for students who make the A Honor Roll and for those who have shown the biggest improvements. It’s a fun way for students to explore college life firsthand, get inspired, and see what amazing opportunities await them. We believe recognizing their efforts with these trips boosts their motivation and pushes them to keep reaching for their dreams!

Career Exploration Days at TMSA give students the chance to discover different career paths and connect what they learn in class to real-world professions. The series kicked off with Nursing, where students explored the world of healthcare, learned about the vital role of nurses, and gained insights from professionals in the field. These experiences help students build confidence, explore their interests, and make informed choices about their future careers.

We’re excited to welcome these professionals to our campus to share their experiences and inspire our students as they plan their future careers.

At TMSA, we organize the Opportunity Fair once every year to help students explore internships, job shadowing, and volunteer programs. We invite representatives from companies and universities in North Carolina and nearby areas to connect with our school.

This event encourages students to make informed choices aligned with their interests and provides valuable real-world experience. By participating, students gain insight into whether certain careers truly match their passions and skills.

In addition, the volunteering opportunities offered at the fair allow students to contribute to their communities while exploring potential career paths. The Opportunity Fair is designed to inspire, educate, and engage students as they plan for their future.
