A New TMSA Campus Is Coming to McLeansville!

Dear TMSA Parents and Guardians,

We are thrilled to share some truly transformative news for our community:
TMSA is expanding with a brand-new K–8 campus located at 5420 Millstream Road, McLeansville, NC!
This stunning 147,300 sq. ft. facility, situated on 11.36 acres, offers incredible potential for a modern, spacious, and innovative learning environment to support our growing student body. 

Why a New Campus?

TMSA Triad has experienced remarkable growth over the past 17 years — now serving over 1,370 students from K–12. Demand has never been higher, and our current buildings are operating at full capacity. This new campus allows us to meet that need while upholding the exceptional academic standards, STEAM-focused learning, and nurturing environment our families trust. 

What Will the New Campus Offer?

The new McLeansville campus will begin as a K–5 school with plans to expand to K–8 over four years:
Projected Enrollment Timeline:

• Year 1: K–5 (400 students)
• Year 2: K–6 (500 students)
• Year 3: K–7 (550 students)
• Year 4: K–8 (600 students) 

Why McLeansville?

This site is strategically located:

• Right off the I-40/I-85 corridor for easy regional access
• Close to rapidly growing neighborhoods like Reedy Fork, Sedalia, and Whitsett
• Convenient to many TMSA families — data shows hundreds of current students already live closer to this new campus than to any existing TMSA building 
• Positioned in an area experiencing major economic and residential growth, including the new Publix Distribution Center and planned housing communities

This campus will significantly reduce commute times for many families and make high-quality STEM education even more accessible.

This expansion allows TMSA to continue its mission of providing rigorous STEAM education, equitable opportunities, and a safe, supportive environment for all students. Once fully operational, TMSA Triad will serve over 2,100 students across all campuses, strengthening our role as a regional leader in public charter education.
