TMSA Celebrates Teacher Appreciation Week 2026

TMSA Triad Secondary School proudly celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week 2026 with a series of thoughtful events and generous contributions from families, staff, and community partners. The week was filled with meaningful gestures to honor the dedication and impact of the school’s exceptional educators.

The celebration kicked off with a “Thanks a Latte” theme, where teachers were treated to delicious coffee beverages. A special thank you goes to Miss Jackie Lancaster for sponsoring the Union Coffee cart, helping energize staff for the day. Principal Mr. Kandil added a sweet touch by providing warm donuts, creating the perfect pairing for the morning treat. Staff also enjoyed a unique experience with Building Dreams Development, as Dani Hemingway-Garden shared plant-based products on-site.

Midweek festivities continued with additional acts of appreciation. The Lipford Family provided a delightful cookie treat, bringing smiles to teachers and staff. Lunch was generously catered by Another Broken Egg in Winston-Salem, NC, thanks to the support of Mr. and Mrs. Simpson and The Vault Group. These contributions highlighted the strong partnership between the school and its supportive community.

As the week progressed, teachers received even more recognition. Mr. Ali and his family surprised staff with special treats, while TMSA provided a dedicated lunch to continue the celebration. Each gesture reinforced the deep appreciation felt for the educators who consistently go above and beyond for their students.

The week concluded on a high note with a variety of final celebrations. The school’s cooking club prepared a special lunch, and the TMSA administrative team provided refreshing sorbet for staff. The joyful atmosphere reflected the strong sense of community and gratitude shared across the school.
